I am basically a painter who loves oils. I follow the old technology in which artist makes his own paints from basic ingredients. This was how the artists used to paint till the advent of premixed paints. My art these days is more concentrated on history and science. In many of paintings, I draw humans or animals. But these are drawn in abstract fashion in order to express more. Some of my paintings are without such figures but are inspired from reality. In this way I paint what is called figurative abstracts.

Till Jan 24 I have had four solo exhibitions and several group exhibitions. My upcoming exhibibition is in April 24. ‘5&6 Life is chemistry’ with tag-line of ‘of Bonds & Reactions, of Sugars and Acids’.

I also believe that artists as a community needs more art lovers. This can happen when an art-neutral persons views more and more art and criticises it. Artists community in India need more art lovers who buy original art.

I also support several NGO’s and proceeds from some of my art-works can be obtained by directly donating them.
